I didn't know you were gone

A chill didn't creep in my bones

An angel did not appear

To bring comfort in my dark hour

And as I looked at the waxen form

Beliefs fell, shattered like broken glass

And a pain inside spoke that you were no more

My mind now wanders to your sweet smile

And the love unlimited like a bottomless well

And piece by piece

I glue back my beliefs from where they fell

Heart once pinned unable to beat

Now warms to your unseen shadow

Speaking to me silently

Attached to my soul
