A little bit about Jim...

Jim was born in 1955 in Willington, County Durham, in North-East England, but moved to Wardley in Tyneside at the age of 16.

Jim studied art, music and science at school in Lanchester (an unusual combination that really messed the O Level timetables at St Bedes!) but opted for a career in electrical engineering to make sure the bills got paid!

He has been interested in drawing and painting since he was young, but music is his first love and he both plays (piano, flute, guitar) and writes. Musical influences include the Beatles, David Bowie, Pink Floyd and Beethoven.
